Forgiveness is usually focused on forgiving others. Here, we discuss the powerful act of forgiving oneself and share tools to help achieve this goal. We share intimately about our own areas that need self forgiveness, including: exploring self hatred; critical judgments; regrets; and unrealistic expectations. By practicing soothing phrases, empowering mantras, and meditation we learn the value of self forgiveness. We can hone our skills of self forgiveness as a pathway to greater self love.
